Closer to the machine?

Record from a safe distance. Never touch moving parts or run a machine just to reproduce a concerning noise.

Quick safety check

Sound clues, not a diagnosis. No trained fault-detection model.

A second listen.
Not a second opinion.

Soundcheck measures the waveform of your recording: repeated pulses, concentrated tones, and irregular changes in volume. It combines those observations with a small, written set of machine-specific troubleshooting rules.

It cannot identify a broken part, recognize your machine, detect every hazard, or tell you it’s safe to keep running. Voices, music, the room, and your microphone can all change the result. A steady hum can be normal or a symptom; context matters.

Today’s guided checks cover household fans, washing machines, and dishwashers. HVAC and car recordings can be described, but need a qualified technician for diagnosis.

Audio stays in this tab and is discarded when you remove it or leave. Examples are synthesized demonstrations, not recordings of verified faults. Results and confidence have not been validated against real repair outcomes.

General guidance is linked in each result. Always follow your own machine’s manual.
